We are seeking a reliable and skilled maintenance technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the upkeep and day-to-day maintenance of our motel's rooms, facilities, gardens, and public areas.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards expected by our guests. They will be integral to ensuring the property operates smoothly and maintains its visual appeal.

This is a casual role offering 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.

Responsibilities include:

  • General room repairs and maintenance">
  • Furniture, door, and equipment repairs">
  • Cleaning of public areas, paths, and garden spaces">
  • Poll testing and maintenance">
  • Garden care including mowing, hedging, and leaf blowing">
  • Replacing light bulbs and air conditioning filters">
  • Advising management when trades are required">
  • Maintaining safe working practices and complying with workplace health and safety requirements">
