Pirtek Newcastle is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Service Technician to join their team. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and repairing of plant and machinery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with a diverse range of customers.
- Travel to sites within Newcastle and surrounding areas to replace hoses and complete new installation work on various machinery.
- Operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately, and maintain a high level of workmanship.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and solve problems.
- Adhere to OHS and Safe Work Practices, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Trade or field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics.
- Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately.
- Good numeracy, verbal and written skills.
- Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
- Desire to be a team player.
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and problem solve.
- Understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices.
- Current Manual Driver's Licence (and willing to obtain an LR Licence).
- Flexibility with working hours, including after-hours availability.
