The Role


We're seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in automating Azure Cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps mindset.


Key Responsibilities



  • Design and develop an in-house Azure IaC platform stack.
  • Help ventures implement and build on the Azure platform using the above stack.
  • Work with AWS cloud, application code, and developing proof of concepts when needed.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting.
  • Optimise cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and high availability.
  • Apply and promote best patterns and practices.

Requirements


We're looking for someone with:



  • 3-5 years' experience deploying and running applications on Azure; AWS experience is a plus.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (IAC): using Bicep and/or Terraform.
  • Experience with cloud well-architected frameworks.
  • Understanding of networking, firewalls, and security architecture.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Strong skills and experience in at least one modern programming language preferably JavaScript/Typescript.
  • Relevant Cloud certifications will be considered.
