About the Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team at BAE Systems Australia.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting and innovative projects, utilizing your commercial expertise to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assessing supplier claims and calculating quantities of labour, materials and durations
• Supporting initial tendering, contract management and supplier disputes
• Managing commercial aspects of sub-contract accounts
• Establishing contractual programmes and forecasting project commercial performance
• Supporting the assessment of contractor claims and payment valuations
• Assisting regular progress and contract performance meetings
• Resolving issues with key stakeholders
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Australian citizenship, eligible to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance
• Demonstrated Quantity Surveying experience in a relevant sector
• Experience in the delivery of services/ construction contracts
• Sound commercial skills and acumen
• Outstanding communication and time management skills
