To support our growth plans, we're seeking a seasoned Product Support Engineer with 3-7 years of relevant industry experience who shares a passion for technology and innovation. This position is part of our growing Engineering team and offers opportunities to build new organisational capabilities.

About the Role

This experienced Product Support Engineer will collaborate with key customers, integration and field service engineers, and production organisation to achieve successful product support and continuously improve our products to serve a growing market.

You'll apply problem-solving skills to respond to stakeholder needs, determine and implement design updates with associated certification as required, plan implementations, and continuously improve HeliMods' organisational capabilities in test, technical data, and training.

This role provides opportunities to learn from internationally experienced engineers, lead up-and-coming talent, work with state-of-the-art airframes in our world-class facility, and drive the best available technology in an energetic, collaborative, innovative culture that recognises performance and celebrates success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests and reviews of physical products, systems, and PCBAs for embedded systems
  • Generate technical content and associated training for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with design engineers and other stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and develop effective solutions
  • Demonstrate a structured approach to working and adaptability in a highly autonomous environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in any relevant engineering discipline, particularly Avionics, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering specialities
  • 3-7 years of relevant avionics, electrical, or electronics engineering industry experience
  • Experience with design software and simulation tools, such as Altium and Zuken, and 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX
  • Knowledge of CASR Part 21 is strongly desirable
  • The energy, intelligence, and initiative to proactively overcome industries' toughest challenges
