Establish a successful offshore presence by overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Accommodation Support Vessel (ASV) and supporting teams in Perth.

About the Role

This critical position plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with INPEX specifications, contractual requirements, and health, safety, and environmental standards. As an Offshore Vessel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure seamless vessel management, effective contractor coordination, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

About You

We are seeking an experienced leader who possesses a strong background in HSE reporting, safe practices in ship operations, and offshore construction and vessel management. A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Chief Officer certification, or Trade qualification with leadership experience is essential. Additionally, you should have experience managing large vessels with 20+ personnel and overseeing marine and catering contractors. Your expertise in contract delivery and invoicing oversight within oil and gas projects will also be valuable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to manage daily vessel operations, ensuring compliance with INPEX specifications and health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with onshore teams, including logistics, travel, catering, cost control, and planning.
  • Monitor vessel operations, including position keeping, helicopter operations, lifting, and cargo handling.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve vessel efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance HSE performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and workforces of diverse cultures to resolve conflicts and achieve project objectives.
