Role Overview

This role involves working as a Speech Therapist with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA Registration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and interventions for a paediatric caseload, delivering direct, family-based and community-based support for developmental delays and disabilities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide information, education and support.
  • Evaluate, train and review ongoing delivery of high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA Registration.
  • Passion for working with individuals with disabilities to help each client achieve goals and participate meaningfully in their community.
  • Exceptional communication skills to work in culturally diverse environments and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to making a difference with therapy that is fun, engaging and meaningful for clients and families.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents and comfort working with families.
  • Compliance: SPA Registration; Working with Children Check; National Police Check; NDIS worker screening; First Aid; Driver's license and vehicle.
