About Northern Beaches Hospital
Northern Beaches Hospital is a state-of-the-art 488-bed facility located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital provides a wide range of health services to the local community, including surgery, emergency care, intensive care, and more.
The hospital has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two catheter laboratories, and four endoscopy procedure rooms. Our highly skilled and expert team of staff are supported by a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Ward 6D, an adult general medical ward with 30 beds. The medical conditions we care for include geriatrics, renal, endocrine, and neuro.
As a successful candidate, you will possess:
- A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Clinical expertise and a commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Flexibility with shift allocations and the ability to work a rotating roster
