IT Systems Administrator Job Overview

Our organization seeks a skilled IT systems administrator to oversee the security, reliability, and efficiency of internal systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our SaaS ecosystem, including Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, JSM, and Confluence
  • Own and improve MDM processes using platforms like FleetDM or Intune
  • Lead or contribute to IT infrastructure and SaaS-related projects
  • Act as the Level 3 escalation point for technical support
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows
  • Manage identity and access workflows across systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge base content
  • Collaborate with IT Support, Security, and cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration or Engineering roles
  • Hands-on experience with modern workplace tools, such as Google Workspace and Atlassian suite
  • Experience with MDM platforms like FleetDM or Intune
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management
  • Comfortable working with REST APIs and scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Ability to provide Level 3 support and resolve complex issues
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
