Veterinary Surgery Nurse Position in Sydney

We are seeking a qualified veterinary nurse to join our dynamic surgical team at our Homebush location in Sydney's Inner West.
As a Surgery Veterinary Nurse, you will be working closely with our experienced surgical nursing team, supporting our Surgery Specialists, Senior Registrars, Residents and Interns.
About the Role- This is a Full-Time position (38 hrs/wk) in our busy surgery department, but we also consider Part-Time applicants.
- The successful candidate will be well remunerated above the award rate.
The role involves surgery patient treatments and care, patient recovery & monitoring, IV catheter placement and fluid therapy, taking blood and using in-house lab equipment, cleaning and autoclaving of surgical instruments and specialised surgical equipment, specialist surgical and theatre nursing, anaesthesia, and radiology (including CT & MRI imaging).

Requirements- A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and at least 3 years of nursing experience

- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
