Early Childhood Education Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to lead our kindergarten team. As an Early Childhood Education Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care that meets the needs of children and families.

Your key responsibilities will include leading the implementation of a developmentally based curriculum, developing positive relationships with children, families, educators, and the community, and advocating for the importance of high-quality early education.

You will work collaboratively with your team to achieve the following:

  • Design and implement a curriculum cycle that meets the needs of individual and groups of children, referencing the Early Years Learning Framework and developmentally appropriate practice.
  • Guide co-educators in using effective teaching strategies, including intentional teaching and reflective practice.
  • Maintain positive communication with families, children, educators, and other professionals at all times.
Key Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and its application, as well as knowledge of the National Quality Standards, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations 2011, and Code of Ethics.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, including planning, implementation, and reflection of the curriculum cycle.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with a flexible approach to service provision.
  • Interpersonal skills and a positive approach to working with children, families, educators, and the community.
