Mater Mothers' Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking an Endorsed Clinical Midwife to join our team in a full-time caseload position. As a My Mater Midwife, you will work in collaboration with private obstetricians to provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women in hospital and at home on an on-call basis.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an agreed number of women throughout their journey, offering continuity of care
- Provide exceptional midwifery care, proficiency in coordinating, assessing, risk management, and communication within a multidisciplinary framework
- Collaborate with private obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices
- Current registration with APHRA with Midwifery endorsement or working towards endorsement
- Experience of continuity of care models and/or private midwifery care desirable
- Significant postgraduate experience in a midwifery environment
- Evidence of continuing educational and professional development
- Competitive salary range: $58.08 (RN/RM2) per hour plus 11.5% superannuation
