Senior Associate/Principal Geotechnical Tailings Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Perth.
This role will involve working closely with experienced Civil, Geotechnical, Water and Tailings groups to deliver projects successfully to meet client needs.
You will have the opportunity to challenge yourself and fellow professionals through complex works covering site investigation, materials testing, laboratory analysis, numerical modelling, engineering design, construction, field inspections and tailings life cycle management from concept to closure.
The ideal candidate will have experience in geotechnical investigations, including site work, laboratory and desktop investigations, and preparing reports for clients.
You will be responsible for developing project scopes, costing, managing projects from proposal preparation to final reporting, and providing technical input in design and documentation.
Additional responsibilities include supervising junior staff, preparing technical documents, managing project correspondence, and ensuring projects are completed on time, quality and budget.
A successful track record in geotechnical and tailings engineering practice is essential, as well as qualifications in civil/geotechnical or engineering geology. Experience in the mining and resources sector is highly desirable.
