Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is seeking Materials Engineering Cadets to commence their journey in engineering. Our Cadetship program offers an opportunity to accelerate personal and professional growth by combining paid work with study.

What You Will Do

You will learn about the relationship between material structure and properties, and their economic application. By rotating through various departments, you will apply scientific principles to solve technological problems across physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

  • You will assist in designing and controlling processes for producing, shaping, treating, and testing materials.
  • Depending on the stage of your rotation, you may work in a lab environment, team-based operations, or a technical role solving production or quality improvements.
