Accountant Opportunity at a Leading Accounting Practice

Mills Recruitment is working with a prominent Accounting practice in Perth CBD to find an intermediate level accountant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, with experience in preparing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of tax returns and financial statements
  • Providing solutions on general tax matters
  • Assistance in cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters
  • Liaising with clients, the ATO, and other bodies
  • Providing advice to a large and varied client base

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience
  • CPA/CA part-qualified preferred but not essential
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with complex groups
  • Division 7a/UPE's exposure and knowledge desirable
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Team player
  • Motivated to build a public practice career
