Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Agricultural Sales Professional, you will lead sales performance in Esperance and its surrounding region in Western Australia. You will collaborate with key distributors, consultants, and farm clients, adding genuine value through technical and agronomic expertise.
Your pivotal role involves building and nurturing client relationships, executing sales strategies, and achieving budgetary goals. Some of your duties will include:
- Actively promoting, recommending, and selling relevant products to enhance client operations
- Expanding key client networks, tracking customer activity via CRM (Salesforce) platform
- Managing reseller activities within the defined territory
- Training resellers on product features
- Overseeing stock distribution and seed allocations within the territory
- Developing and implementing an annual territory sales plan
- Conducting customer field days and walks
- Communicating and building relationships with key industry personnel
- Developing, managing, and reporting on expense budgets
- Being the primary contact for customer product performance inquiries
About You
We seek a dynamic, ambitious individual with a strong background in agricultural sales and exceptional relationship-building skills. Your ability to engage with diverse stakeholders will drive sales performance across your territory.
To thrive in this role, you should be adaptable, organised, and professional, demonstrating:
- A degree in Agronomy or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven sales experience within the agricultural industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Current manual driver's license
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
