Principal Building Surveyor

The Principal Building Surveyor is a key position within Central Coast Council, responsible for delivering high-quality Development and Building Certification advice and customer service to the industry and general public.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately and thoroughly assess Development Applications and perform all functions of a Registered Certifier.
- Carry out critical stage inspections of building works for all classes of buildings.
- Promote Council's role as a Principal Certifier and provide mentorship to the Building Surveyors within the section.
- Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
- A Degree qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development.
- Current registration as a Building Surveyor (unrestricted) under the Building & Development Certifiers Act.
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
- Salary range: $99K to $119K + Market Loading available up to $9K plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Permanent full-time role.
- Access to a 9 day fortnight.
