Practice Director Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our team forward, combining deep technical expertise with a passion for innovation.
As the Practice Director, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our strategic direction and lead a talented team of consultants.
This isn't a role about managing separate silos – it's about creating synergy between modern work and custom application development.
You will be responsible for defining and delivering integrated solutions that empower our clients with a modern, productive workplace while building the custom applications they need to compete.
Your role will be a critical blend of technical leadership, business development, and team mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic direction: define and execute the strategy for our Modern Work and Application Development practices, fostering a cohesive approach to client solutions.
- Lead and manage your team of consultants: provide strategic direction, mentorship, and day-to-day oversight to ensure your team delivers innovative, high-quality solutions.
- Foster a collaborative environment where consultants are empowered to grow and succeed.
- Manage practice growth: take ownership of team utilization and performance by monitoring capacity, aligning resources with project demands, and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Oversee project delivery: guide the design, development, and delivery of solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and custom applications.
- Lead pre-sales and growth: drive new business through technical pre-sales engagements, including solution architecture, client workshops, and proposal development.
- Build client relationships: cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
- Actively engage in key projects: serve as a billable resource for strategic and high-value customer engagements, demonstrating expertise and setting a standard for delivery.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in IT consulting, application development, or modern workplace transformation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Technical expertise: proven experience in pre-sales and solution architecture with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies.
- Leadership skills: demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and manage complex client relationships.
- Communication: exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present compelling technical solutions.
- Problem-Solving: strategic and innovative mindset with a track record of fostering continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical or business field.
