Senior Product Manager

This role focuses on the end-to-end development and procurement of product ranges across a leading retail business. The Product Development Manager leads a team in executing product development initiatives aligned with business objectives and critical path timelines.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product developers to execute product development initiatives.
- Drive the product development process in collaboration with buying and planning teams.
- Partner closely with the brand manager to ensure products align with seasonal brand direction, market trends, and consumer expectations.
- Oversee packaging development and quality control processes.
- Manage testing and compliance with Australian standards, coordinating third-party testing and lab reports as required.
About this opportunity:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience working as a product manager or in a similar buying/product role.
- Proven experience in product development, buying, or sourcing within a retail or wholesale environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a small team or mentoring junior staff.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage costs, margins, and supplier negotiations.
