The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled WHS Advisor to join our team at Hitachi Construction Machinery
This role will involve monitoring and maintaining our work health and safety management system, ensuring compliance with current legislation and promoting a positive workplace safety culture.
You will work closely with branch and field operations to provide guidance and support the implementation of effective risk management processes, including accident/ incident investigations, workers compensation claims and return to work plans.
About You
- Strong Safety Commitment – Proactive awareness of your own safety and for others around you
- Previous WHS Experience – ideally having worked in a WHS role within the Mining, Trades, Manufacturing or Warehousing Industries
- Knowledge of RTW requirements and experience in facilitating training and assessment packages – desirable
- Cert IV in OHS, with Diploma in OHS – highly desirable
- Technical Knowledge – Trusted to provide holistic technical advice on relevant legislation and able to professionally deliver training sessions and toolbox talks
