Senior Mathematics Curriculum Specialist

We are seeking experienced educators to develop advanced mathematics content for senior secondary education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching or curriculum development, with expertise in one state and sufficient experience to interpret standards for other states.
The role involves developing and structuring content for Years 11 and 12 of the Queensland, Victorian, and New South Wales curricula, ensuring alignment with standards and exam preparation. The successful applicant will also review and update existing materials for senior secondary levels, creating comprehensive exam-style questions and detailed lesson plans to enhance student learning.
We are looking for individuals with a collaborative work ethic, keen attention to detail, and strong communication skills. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary settings is required, preferably with exam preparation or assessment design involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and structure advanced mathematics content for Years 11 and 12 of the Queensland, Victorian, and New South Wales curricula.
- Review and update existing materials for senior secondary levels.
- Create comprehensive exam-style questions focusing on procedural skills, conceptual understanding, and real-world applications.
- Design detailed lesson plans and educational resources to complement question sets and enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure content coherence and quality across modules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in teaching or curriculum development for Years 11 and 12 mathematics.
- Extensive knowledge of exam formats, question types, and assessment criteria relevant to senior secondary mathematics.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary settings, preferably with exam preparation or assessment design involvement.
- Collaborative, proactive work ethic with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
