About UsMater Private Hospital Rockhampton offers advanced perioperative services with five operating complexes and a central sterilizing unit.
The theatre complex provides pre- and post-operative recovery room care and specialized endoscopic procedures.
The surgical case mix includes orthopaedic, obstetric, gynaecologic, ENT, oral, urology, paediatric, general, bariatric, vascular, spinal and ophthalmic surgery.
Your Responsibilities- Achieve optimal patient outcomes through effective continuum of care and patient advocacy
- Exhibit exceptional clinical expertise in perioperative care, including management of patients during anaesthesia and post-operative recovery
- Manage post-operative complications effectively
- Collaborate with nursing teams to deliver exceptional care consistently
- Stay up-to-date with latest knowledge and skills to ensure continuous professional growth
- Hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Demonstrate significant experience within a perioperative setting or possess transferable skills for professional development
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commit to ongoing quality improvement and best practice principles
- Hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency or have sponsorship eligibility under ANMAC codes
