Job Opportunity

At KPMG, we are seeking a skilled Resource Consultant to join our growing Audit & Assurance Resource Management team in Sydney. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving greater efficiency in resource deployment, ensuring optimal staffing mix on client engagements, and providing analysis to senior stakeholders on resource management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive greater efficiency in resource deployment by providing business stakeholders with visibility/options of resource capacity and capabilities to enable resource optimisation and cross resourcing.
  • Ensure an optimal staffing mix on client engagements including leverage model considerations.
  • Manage scheduling requests and provide resourcing solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Provide analysis to senior stakeholders on resource management reporting.
  • Work with the offshore data entry team to ensure data accuracy with the firm's scheduling tool (Retain).
  • Assist the National Resource Management team to find suitable internal resources for projects.
  • Proactively follow up items that may impact schedule accuracy, including upcoming capacity within the team and forecasted projects awaiting confirmation.
  • Identify upcoming conflicts and suggest potential alternatives.
  • Take ownership for the education of client-facing staff on resource management practices.

Requirements
  • Previous Resource Management experience or experience within a similar field (Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Operations).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for actions, outcomes, and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in MS applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Degree qualification or similar is highly desirable.
