About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at NSW Health. As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical services to patients within the boundaries of relevant legislation and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication management and patient counseling.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve medication safety and quality use of medicines.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and postgraduate qualifications in a Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy or any other relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the relevant specialty or not less than 3 years' experience in hospital pharmacy including not less than 12 months experience in the relevant specialty.
  • Extensive experience in the provision of advanced clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with Pharmacy staff and other members of the healthcare team and clients.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and experience in the provision of educational sessions to the multidisciplinary healthcare team and clients.
