Civil Construction Apprenticeship

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the dynamic field of Civil Construction. As part of this apprenticeship, you will work towards earning a nationally recognized Certificate III in Civil Construction, equipping you with valuable skills and qualifications.

Throughout the program, you will gain hands-on experience in planning and organizing civil construction tasks, reading and interpreting plans, using hand and power tools, and safely operating a range of plant and equipment.

  • Safely operate a range of plant and equipment
  • Plan and organise civil construction tasks
  • Read and interpret plans
  • Use hand and power tools
  • General Labour including – hand digging & shovelling
  • Manual Handling including – lifting, place, screed and finish asphalt and concrete
  • Laying pavers

As an apprentice, you will be working towards achieving the following key outcomes:

  1. Develop your ability to plan and organize civil construction tasks efficiently.
  2. Enhance your knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in the workplace.
  3. Improve your skills in reading and interpreting plans.
  4. Acquire proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  5. Gain experience in safely operating a range of plant and equipment.
  6. Develop strong communication and teamwork skills.

Applicants should possess good hand-eye coordination and the ability to use hand tools effectively. Additionally, they should be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, have an intermediate level of fitness, and demonstrate the ability to work well as part of a team.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will have gained valuable skills and qualifications that will enable you to pursue a rewarding career in Civil Construction.
