We are seeking a Patient Services Officer to join our team at The Wesley Hospital.
As a Casual Patient Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing medical administration support in a large, fast-paced department. Your duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient registration
- Preadmissions and admissions
- Billing and patient referral management
- Switchboard and mail room services
- Liaising with specialist and GP practices
- Reception duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in emergency centre, hospital or medical practice administration is ideal
- Intermediate computer skills and data entry accuracy are essential
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus in a fast-paced environment

Selection Criteria:
- You must be available to work several shifts per fortnight (7.5 hour shifts), rostered over a 24/7 period including night shifts between the hours of 23:00-07:30
