Livestock Production Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Livestock Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the AgriWest team, you will provide technical advice and animal health support to our livestock clients, building strong relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers, and industry experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on animal health and productivity to our livestock clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry experts.
  • Drive sales by ensuring clients use the right products to maximise productivity and profitability.
  • Support seasonal product forecasting and contribute to local field days, newsletters, and community events.
  • Be the primary contact in Cooma for key livestock production clients regarding product pricing and customer orders, supply, and logistics.
Requirements:
  • Possess a passion for livestock production and helping farmers achieve better outcomes.
  • Strong sales and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current driver's licence (essential).
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
