Mining Engineer Internship Opportunity

Gain hands-on technical experience as a Vacation Student in Mining Engineering.
Your RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Assisting with underground drill and blast design preparation.
- Supporting ventilation and ground support inspections.
- Collecting and analyzing production data from underground operations.
- Updating mine plans and schedules under supervision.
- Participating in shift handovers and safety briefings.
- Monitoring equipment performance and reporting issues.
- Collaborating with operators and engineers on production improvements.
- Rotating through assignments within the Technical Services team, supervised by senior staff, to align responsibilities with experience and learning goals.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current enrolment in a Mining Engineering, Science (Mining), Engineering Science (Mining Engineering), or Civil degree, or similar.
- Experience with relevant software and systems through studies or placements.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills across verbal, written, numerical, and graphical formats.
- Ability to uphold high work standards and build strong relationships with peers and leaders.
- Capacity to work independently to meet personal and team goals.
- Valid manual driver's license.
- Willingness to live and work remotely.
