We are seeking a skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to contribute to the development of innovative packaging and processing machinery.

  • Design and develop machinery that meets performance, operational, and cost specifications.
  • Develop assembly, commissioning, testing, and ongoing refinement processes.
  • Generate designs and drawings that meet quality standards, considering upstream and downstream effects on the business, internal customers, and end users.
  • Continuously identify, implement, monitor, and update processes and practices to ensure consistency with design philosophies.
  • Manage design projects, ensuring all milestones are met according to schedule.
  • Assist and provide high-level support to customers and teams.
  • Work closely with departments to transition new designs through documentation, prototyping, timely production, and testing.
  • Liaise with customers, colleagues, suppliers, and internal departments to establish excellent relationships.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of design experience with some autonomy, in special purpose machine design or manufacturing-related field.
  • Experience with 2D CAD and 3D modeling systems.
  • Exposure to food and packaging industry desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, structural design, and materials handling.
  • Ability to produce documentation suitable for manufacturing and installation personnel.
