Job Title: Weekend Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering vaccinations and other injections
  • Triage of patients
  • Wound care management
  • Chronic disease management
  • Performing ECGs
  • Providing support and reassurance to patients
  • Assisting with care plans and health summaries
  • Supporting telehealth consultations
  • Assisting doctors with clinical procedures and maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinating daily activities in the treatment room, including stock control, sterilization, and equipment maintenance
  • Implementing infection control measures
  • Providing reception and practice management support

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various illnesses and injuries, as well as a compassionate and hard-working attitude.

Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Previous experience working in an accredited General Practice setting
  • Caring and collaborative approach to patient care
  • Sense of urgency, compassion, and professionalism
  • Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • PREFERRED use of Best Practice programs
  • Experience and knowledge of care plans and health assessments
  • Current Police Check
  • Current Working with Children clearance
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Immunisation Record
