Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to support our team across multiple centres on the Central Coast. As a casual educator, you will have flexibility in your schedule and be able to choose the hours and days that suit you best.

This role involves working closely with experienced Centre Managers, Assistant Centre Managers, and other educators to deliver high-quality education and care to children. You will have the opportunity to engage with children, families, and team members, and contribute to the development of engaging programs and activities.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and have prior experience working in a long day care service. A current Working with Children Check is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support educators across different rooms at the centre
  • Engage with children, families and team members
  • Assist with daily centre practices
  • Support educators with children's learning and documentation

Requirements:

  • Completed a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent or actively working towards)
  • Willing to travel between multiple services and be available on short notice
  • A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Prior experience in a long day care service
