The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to further develop your clinical expertise by working alongside many supportive Senior Emergency Physicians.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality patient care and advice on the management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department
  2. Provide accurate, timely, and legible medical records, including medical reports and discharge summaries
  3. Participate in continuous medical education, including teaching, professional development, research, quality improvement activities

The Facility:

Our hospital is a 360 bed facility offering services and care across a range of specialties, including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, General Medicine, Rehabilitation, Oncology, Respiratory Medicine, HITH, Palliative Care, Renal, Endocrinology, Haematology, Neurology, Anaesthetics, ENT, Urology, General Surgery, O&G, Paediatrics, and other allied health services.

Eligibility:

  1. General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
  2. IMG's that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
  3. IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
  4. IMG's assessed by ACEM College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with ACEM may express their interest)
  5. Have experience working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar / Medical Officer
