The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to further develop your clinical expertise by working alongside many supportive Senior Emergency Physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care and advice on the management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Provide accurate, timely, and legible medical records, including medical reports and discharge summaries
- Participate in continuous medical education, including teaching, professional development, research, quality improvement activities
The Facility:
Our hospital is a 360 bed facility offering services and care across a range of specialties, including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, General Medicine, Rehabilitation, Oncology, Respiratory Medicine, HITH, Palliative Care, Renal, Endocrinology, Haematology, Neurology, Anaesthetics, ENT, Urology, General Surgery, O&G, Paediatrics, and other allied health services.
Eligibility:
- General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
- IMG's that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
- IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
- IMG's assessed by ACEM College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with ACEM may express their interest)
- Have experience working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar / Medical Officer
