About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team in the Bowen Basin. As a Field Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including draglines and shovels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including draglines and shovels
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and cleaning
  • Identify and report any equipment issues or defects
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant trade qualification and experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space certificates
  • Gas Test Atmospheres and EWP certifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
