Accounts and Administration Officer Opportunity
Job Description:This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Accounts and Administration Officer to join a dynamic organization in Ipswich. The company has a strong reputation for innovation and excellence, and this role offers a chance to be part of a talented team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in administration and accounts processing, including data entry, payroll, and reconciliations. They will also possess excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer and maintain databases
- Process and record invoices, setting up new suppliers as required
- Assist with end-of-month accounts processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Data entry for timesheets and provide payroll support as needed
- Provide relief backup support for weighbridge operations when required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in administration and accounts processing (debtors and creditors)
- Data entry and payroll experience (an advantage but not essential)
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
- Proven time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
