Strategic Governance and Compliance Advisor

This is a key opportunity to play a central role in strengthening governance frameworks and providing legal expertise to support strategic priorities.
The Key Responsibilities- Support robust, transparent, and effective governance, quality, and risk programs.
- Provide in-house legal guidance, coordinate external legal advice, and contribute to best practice compliance and governance.
- Implement and improve the governance framework.
- Facilitate external legal advice and deliver in-house guidance on complex matters.
- Coordinate the lease and land tenure portfolio.
- Provide advice, training, and guidance on governance and legal issues.
- Manage complaints and investigations.
- Prepare high-quality reports and briefings.
- Bachelor's degree in Law or relevant discipline.
- Admission as an Australian Lawyer.
- Current practising certificate or eligibility to obtain.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial/community leasing and complaints handling.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Makes a genuine impact in a collaborative community-focused organisation.

This is a permanent full-time role with immediate start available. The annual salary is $95,552.46 + 12% superannuation.
