Flexible Culinary Expert Sought

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team in a flexible culinary role.

This position offers the opportunity to balance work and personal life with both full-time and part-time hours available. The ideal candidate will be able to assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing high-quality meals following established recipes and portion controls.
  • Supervise the kitchen during periods of absence from the Head Chef, coordinating daily activities while maintaining adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, taking into account dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain inventory levels and control food costs effectively.
  • Develop positive relationships with residents, staff, and visitors through effective communication.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
  • Flexibility to work some weekends and occasional evening shifts is required.
