Job Summary

This 12-month fixed-term parental leave contract offers an exciting opportunity to work as an HR Business Partner in a small team, managing a varied portfolio of managers and driving change at an internal level. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in partnering with people leaders to provide guidance, coaching, and advice on all aspects of the employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehend, interpret, and ensure the application of all relevant awards, legislation, and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the implementation of multiple crucial HR projects across the organisation.
  • Provide support to influence the adoption of good human resource practices across the wider organisation.
  • Support workforce planning activities.
  • Help drive initiatives that focus on building a positive work culture, including several organisation-wide change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with payroll and WHS colleagues.

About You

We are seeking a tertiary-qualified HR professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar human resources role. Applicants with experience in medium-scale organisations familiar with awards, legislation, and enterprise bargaining agreements will be favourably considered. To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, an open mind capable of analysing and problem-solving business situations, and superior written and verbal communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive suite of employee benefits, including generous leave entitlements.
