Job Overview

We are a leading innovative medical research and development facility. Our vision is Exceptional Science, Healthier Lives.

Situated in the Princess Alexandra Hospital precinct, we combine the research intellect and capability of Queensland Health, The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and the Mater Research.

Main Responsibilities

You will lead people with responsibility for facilitating clinical trial opportunities and ensuring the smooth running and sustainability of the CRF, TRIC facilities and the Translational Trials team.

You will work closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team in strategic planning for the Executive and the Board as required.

This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for up to 5 years. It will be part-time 11.4 hours per week.

Your Key Selection Criteria:

  • Mandatory – Registration in Australia (or the potential to be) as a health practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Established and significant research and clinical trials track record.
  • Experience in clinical trial leadership (industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated) essential.
