Job Overview

The role of Restoration Technician involves performing initial make-safe works on homes and businesses affected by water, mould, fire or related restorations. The successful candidate will be physically fit and capable of performing a highly physical role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial make-safe works on homes and businesses to prevent further damage
  • Complete technician reports and documentation for water, fire and mould damage projects
  • Clean affected contents and structures thoroughly
  • Remove damaged carpets, flooring and wall/ceiling linings as required
  • Pack out and remove contents from affected properties
  • Perform fire and soot damage cleaning and restoration
  • Conduct mould remediation and cleaning
  • Install drying and dehumidification equipment to facilitate the restoration process
  • Assist with assessment of damaged properties and contents to determine the extent of the damage
Requirements
  • IICRC WRT Certification (highly desirable)
  • White Card (Construction Induction Certificate) for safe site access
  • Class C Driver's Licence with a clean driving record for travel to client sites
  • Physically fit and capable of performing a highly physical role
  • Well-presented with a strong focus on customer service
  • Honest, reliable and maintains high integrity
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
