The Instrument Technician role is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of medical equipment, including cleaning, testing, and maintaining instruments and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Central Sterilising Services (CSSD)
- Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services or equivalent qualification
- High level of understanding of AS:5369 standards and digital tracking systems
- Competency in using Microsoft Office software
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
