About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Paediatric Registrar/Advanced Trainee in a large public hospital in Canberra. The hospital is the main teaching facility for the Australian National University and caters to a population of over 550,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general paediatric services to approximately 450 inpatients and 1000 outpatients each month
  • Support and supervise junior medical staff
  • Participate in clinical, leadership, and education responsibilities

About the Facility

The hospital provides a wide range of services across more than 25 buildings on its campus, including acute inpatient and day services, outpatient services, women's and children's services, paediatrics, and pathology.

Eligibility

  • General, Provisional, or Limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
  • IMGs that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
  • IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland)
  • IMGs assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable
