About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Sales Floor Associate to join our team at Costco Marsden Park. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring our warehouse operates smoothly.

Job Summary

This is a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for maintaining high merchandise levels, merchandising standards, and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high merchandise levels by aligning merchandise, collecting and returning stray items, and stocking shelves.
  • Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plan and priorities.
  • Cut boxes for display/accessibility of merchandise and cut twine or shrink-wrap from pallets.
  • Stock opened cases onto shelves, move and position pallets of merchandise, and stack partial pallets onto full pallets.
  • Wrap/tie and tag pallets to be returned to steel and check for correct merchandise signs.
  • Construct and assemble display models as necessary and modify displays for safe handling by members.
  • Pull loose cardboard and slip-sheets from the floor, clear the sales floor of debris, and sweep.
  • Remove empty pallets from the sales floor, operate the cardboard baler and trash compactor, and rewrap loose merchandise.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures and spot for Forklift Drivers to keep people out of fall-danger zones.
  • Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary and provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
