We are seeking a skilled and compassionate chef to join our team at Bear Cottage, a palliative and respite care facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for children, families, staff, and volunteers in a home-like environment.

  • Recent experience in food service or commercial kitchens is essential.
  • A valid food handling certificate or equivalent recognised course on safe food handling is required.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety, infection control, and manual handling principles is necessary.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and time management skills are required.
  • Good personal hygiene and neat appearance are expected.
About the Role
