The Therapeutic Youth Worker role is a permanent part-time position, working in our homes for children living in Out of Home Care settings. The role involves operating on a 24/7 rotating roster, which includes morning, afternoon, and night shifts, including sleepovers and awake shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing therapeutic support and guidance to young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of individualised care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting writing
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure comprehensive support services

Requirements:

  • Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services or Youth Work (or be willing to enroll and complete)
  • Prior experience working in a Youth Worker position is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to work therapeutically with young people and utilise behaviour support strategies
  • A valid NSW Driver's licence and your own insured vehicle
  • A Working With Children Check
