About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Coordinator. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the daily operations of the WWTP, including sampling, monitoring, and testing. You'll also ensure that all activities comply with local authority and legislative requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage the WWTP, including sampling, monitoring, and testing.
  • Ensure daily operations comply with local authority and legislative requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements through various projects.
  • Report environmental incidents and performance data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the development and maintenance of environmental systems.

About You

  • Qualifications in water/wastewater operations, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Sound understanding of environmental regulatory requirements and regulatory monitoring.
  • Experience in process knowledge and operating SCADA/SAP is desirable.
  • Competent in using Microsoft programs.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to think critically and plan activities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
