We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team in Western Melbourne. As a Speech Pathologist with KU Children's Services, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech pathology services to children aged birth to 7 years in a play-based learning environment
- Work collaboratively with families and other professionals to support the developmental needs of children
- Establish and maintain respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Administer and score a range of assessments, and provide feedback to families
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's communication and language skills
- Australian recognized tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
- Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments
- Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
- Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases
- Meticulous time management and organisation skills
- Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
- A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
