About the Role

AusNet Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Digital Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Digital and Technology team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the consistent application of governance and delivery methodologies for managing a portfolio of digital change initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance by engaging with project stakeholders and delivery teams to adhere to project and portfolio requirements, standards, and AusNet policies.
  • Enhance and maintain the AusNet digital framework for managing the full lifecycle from ideation to delivery, collaborating with teams such as Global Operations, Capital Portfolio Governance, Architecture, and Security.
  • Embed the AusNet digital framework and other relevant frameworks through ongoing training for both existing and new resources.
  • Assist projects in understanding the AusNet digital framework and approve any justified deviations under digital control.
  • Support portfolio-level processes for risk, issue, quality assurance, and capacity management.
  • Conduct in-depth governance reviews of processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Extensive years of applied experience in portfolio governance and digital delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in Jira and other project and program management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant training or certifications in project and program management methods (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Scrum) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a multi-vendor project environment.
