About BMD Empower

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to work in our Darwin Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and deliver engineering solutions to clients based on project requirements
  • Review and create engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their expectations align with project requirements
  • Coordinate external consultants (architects, surveyors, hydraulic engineers etc.) for incorporation of required engineering inputs into designs
  • Effectively undertake engineering design in a computer-aided design environment
  • Conduct internal audits of the company business management system and ensure proper design and drafting standards are maintained
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 5-10 years industry relevant experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and external consultants
  • High-level ability to understand complex engineering challenges and develop multiple solutions considering risk and opportunity assessment
  • Attention to detail

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
