Your new role:

The Airborne Sensor Operator positions are available in various regions.

  • Execute operational tasks related to the acquisition of airborne LiDAR and imagery, including the operation of airborne LiDAR and camera systems;
  • Coordinate aerial missions with the survey pilot or aircraft provider;
  • Ensure all scheduled airborne sorties are conducted accurately and promptly, supporting the processing, exploitation, and dissemination of collected data;
  • Perform quality control on acquired data;
  • Manage flight planning responsibilities for operations as assigned by the Chief Airborne Sensor Operator.

What you will have:

  • Technical qualifications in LiDAR and camera systems, spatial science, or photography;
  • Comfortable operating in unpressurized light aircraft at various altitudes for extended durations;
  • Proficient knowledge of aerial survey sensors and flight planning software;
  • Understanding of meteorological principles;
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with MS-based software;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a red Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC);
  • 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

Applicants should be prepared for weekend work, extended periods away from home, and occasional long days while on duty.
