This is a high-level Technology Risk role that requires a strong blend of technical expertise and risk knowledge.

  • As a Technology Risk Specialist, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of technology risk, control, and assurance processes.

In this challenging opportunity, you will play a key part in enabling our technology teams to navigate the IAG Risk Management Framework with confidence and ease.

You will be responsible for providing first-line risk support across Technology & Operations, risk profiling and assessments, managing control issues and risk events, overseeing third-party risk governance, enhancing reporting and oversight of critical systems, engaging with Executive-level stakeholders on technology risk management matters, contributing to the delivery of the Technology & Operations Risk Culture Plan, supporting the identification, assessment, and automation of technology controls, including the use of AI, and enabling technology teams to independently apply the Risk Management Framework through intuitive tools and resources.

This is a permanent role open to all major cities in Australia.

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced technology risk professional who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, risk knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology and/or technology risk
  • A 'can do' mindset and a friendly, courteous approach to your work, helping to foster a collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, building trust and influencing outcomes through clear communication and credibility
  • Understanding the importance of delivering value to internal and external customers, and consistently putting their needs at the heart of your work
  • Take ownership of your responsibilities and are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes that make a real difference
  • High level of personal drive and enthusiasm
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
  • Cobit Foundation
